I’m a Supply Chain Specialist in the Chemical & Oil Products Industry for over 30 years.
I have led:
- network development ie. building of new production facilities, changing of supply sources & acquisition of new facilities.
- commissioned & operated facilities, carried out debottlenecking and implemented best practices in operations management & safety.
- I have been stationed in locations in China, Indonesia, Australia & Singapore and have worked in several Joint Venture organizations.
I am a former senior executive of Shell (16 years), Gulf Oil (7 years), United Oil (5 years) leading teams in lubricants, grease and bitumen. Many of the projects are change management in nature across East Asia & ASEAN. I started my professional career as a chemical engineer in petrochemicals with ICI Australia and had managed several construction projects in Indonesia with Sembawang Engineering.
Safety management is an area I am passionate in and have implemented effective systems in the challenging environment of a Shipyard. In addition, I am an experienced lead for HAZOPs (Hazard & Operability Studies).
